The 18k gold of this handmade ring has the beautiful glow of high karat gold with a lovely matte surface that adds to its warmth. The band is grooved with milgrain work on the outer ridges, using the design element of the grooves to create a visual of three lines of milgrain. The handmade quality of the ring is apparent when the ring is looked at from the side: it is not quite a true circle, a subtle detail that adds to the charm of this piece. 

The band has a nice weight of 5 grams a height of 2.7 mm off the finger, giving it presence on the hand that is the perfect balance to the simple design. The band is 2.5 mm wide. The band has an unidentified maker’s mark of C.M and is marked as 18k. 

Ring size 6.5, not easily resizable due to the milgrain work. 

This ring would make a beautiful wedding band.
