Vintage 18K Gold Handmade Gypsy Ring with Ceylon Sapphire 

This handmade 18k gold gypsy ring is set east to west with a natural Ceylon sapphire in a beautifully saturated shade of cornflower blue. At 2.4 carats, this is a deep stone with rows of facets that canyon like a pool of deep water; undulating shades of blue give depth and movement as they sparkle in the light. The stone is bezel set and the ring has a high arch-like profile to accommodate the stone, adding to the regal quality of the piece. 

The ring is marked with “18k” and an unidentified maker’s mark. It weighs 11 grams and the sapphire is 7.5 x 6.3 mm. The profile sits about 1/4” high on the finger. The ring comes with an appraisal.
