This is a very nice George Shiebler Sterling Silver & Gilt Match Safe. It has a radiating repousse design of silver waves from the center. The optical illusion of this design is mesmerizing as it draws your eye into the center of the match safe. 

It is in excellent condition with no dents or dings. The lid fits very well and snaps shut and the hinges are in excellent working order. There are a few black silver spots that could be polished out. The interior of the safe has a gilt finish.
