This 14k gold necklace features a 2.5 carat moonstone, beautifully mounted with a Ceylon sapphire on a delicate chain. The moonstone is a beautiful milky white with blue-purple adularescence—an optical phenomenon that produces a milky glow that seems to float just above the surface of a gemstone. Above the moonstone is a vibrant blue Ceylon sapphire, that really pops despite its smaller size. The blue of the sapphire seems to pick up on the blue-ish hues of the moonstone’s adularescence, as if the moonstone were actually reflecting the sapphire in its glow.
